These are becoming increasingly popular among the family office sector of high net worth families. They are privately incorporated companies established for one or more connected family trusts. A private trust company would usually engage an institutional trustee to act as the day-to-day administrator. The Isle of Man has flexible rules for the establishment of private trustee companies.
